McKinley Porth is a performer, entrepreneur, and rising sophomore pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Kent State University, with minors in Business and Dance. Originally from South Carolina, McKinley has been involved in theatre since 2018 and has a passion for musical theatre, tap dancing, teaching, and storytelling.

In summer 2026, McKinley made her professional theatre debut at Porthouse Theatre in Side Show. At Kent State, she serves as Vice President of Students on Stage, a new student organization dedicated to creating fully student-produced musicals. Through the organization, McKinley is able to combine her love of performing with her passion for leadership, collaboration, and producing.

McKinley is also the founder of Midlands Playbill, a theatre platform based in South Carolina that celebrates performers, productions, and the performing arts community throughout the Midlands. She recently produced and directed the first-ever Midlands Playbill Cabaret, continuing to build opportunities for performers in her community.

Alongside performing and producing, McKinley teaches voice lessons and has experience teaching tap and clogging. She enjoys working with young performers and helping students grow their confidence and love for the performing arts.

Outside of theatre, McKinley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to church, and deer hunting.
